Former Italy Under-21s international Piermario Morosini died after suffering a cardiac arrest during Livorno's Serie B encounter with Pescara this afternoon.

The 25-year-old collapsed in the 31st minute of the match, before being rushed to the Santo Spirito Hospital where he was placed into medically induced coma.
