Only two of the nine scheduled games went ahead in the League Two this afternoon as the adverse weather conditions wreaked havoc upon the fixture list.
Northampton Town faced Aldershot in the earlier kickoff at the Sixfields Stadium. After a fairly even first half, it was the home side that kicked on in the second period.
Jake Robinson gave Northampton the lead after 49 minutes as the Cobblers began to dominate proceedings. Clive Platt secured all three points with a goal in injury time.
In the other game, Accrington Stanley shared the points with Plymouth Argyle, who took the lead in the first half through Onismor Bhasera.
James Beattie grabbed an equaliser in the 52nd minute to earn a point for his side.
