Luke Norris extends loan stay at Northampton Town

Luke Norris extends his successful loan spell at Northampton Town until January 4, 2014.

Northampton Town have extended the loan spell of Luke Norris from Brentford until January 4.

The 20-year-old striker initially joined the Cobblers for a month on October 18 and has made six starts for the League Two side.

He has scored in five of those six games, including a dramatic late winner against high-flying Fleetwood Town on Saturday.

Next up for Aidy Boothroyd's side, who are still bottom despite Saturday's victory, is a trip to the North-East and Hartlepool United on Saturday.
