Northampton Town withdraw their contract offer for former Coventry City defender Nathan Cameron.

Northampton Town boss Aidy Bothroyd has confirmed that the club have withdrawn their contract offer for Nathan Cameron.

The 21-year-old had been on trial at the club after leaving Coventry City, with Bothroyd reportedly offering the defender a permanent contract.

However, Bothroyd has now told the club's official website: "There comes a time when you have to move on. In this instance we have moved on and that door is now closed."

A number of Football League clubs are believed to be interested in his signature.
