Norwich City boss Neil Adams has revealed that he will give opportunities to all the players in his squad to win a starting place for their Championship campaign.
The Canaries were relegated to the second tier of English football after losing six of their last seven games of the 2013-14 campaign.
Several players including Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Sebastien Bassong and Anthony Pilkington fell out of favour towards the end of the season, but Adams has insisted that everyone will get a chance.
He told the Pink Un: "I did that with all of them at the end of last season when I didn't know if I was going to get the permanent position or not. I felt even then you had to have a contingency plan.
"The players have let me know whether they want to be here or not, and that will remain confidential, but in terms of a clean slate, everyone has an opportunity to impress."
Norwich face Wolverhampton Wanderers in their Championship opener on August 10.
