Southampton are charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players in Saturday's goalless draw with Norwich City.

Southampton have been charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players in last weekend's 0-0 draw with Norwich City.

A number of Saints players reacted angrily to referee Mark Clattenburg handing Norwich a penalty in the final minute that was missed by Grant Holt.

A statement from the Football Association read: "The FA has today charged Southampton with failing to control their players following the awarding of a penalty to Norwich during the match at Carrow Road on Saturday 9 March.

"The club has until 4pm on Friday 15 March to respond to the charge."

Southampton currently sit in 16th position in the Premier League table.
