Norwich City's Sebastien Bassong determined to bounce back against Everton

Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong believes that his side are capable of bouncing back from their recent run of poor form by defeating Everton at Carrow Road.

Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong has revealed that he is optimistic that his side can bounce back from their defeat to Watford in their match against Everton.

The Canaries have won just one of their last eight matches in the Premier League, which has seen them drop perilously close to the relegation zone.

However, Bassong believes that he and his teammates are more than capable of defeating the Toffees to get back to winning ways.

He told the club's official website: "It's a home game so there's no reason for us to doubt what we're going to do. We will focus on ourselves, first and foremost. They have good players but if we give a good team performance we can nullify them, which is what we're hoping for.

"A team like us needs to be 100% together all of the time. We need to have a strong bond with each other to face moments when results aren't as we hoped.

"The manager always tells us we have to keep working, and keep believing. That's the message, and that's what we're doing."

Norwich play Everton at Carrow Road on Saturday.
