Norwich City boss Neil Adams has revealed that he is eager to keep Leroy Fer and Gary Hooper at the club this summer.
Both players have been linked with moves away from Carrow Road in recent weeks following the team's relegation to the Championship.
However, Adams is hopeful that the duo will remain with the Canaries and help the club get back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
"They know I want them to stay. I've spoken to all of them," he told Sky Sports News. "Players like that you don't want to lose, simple as that, but we're realistic.
"That's the unfortunate factor of relegation last season, clubs will come after your best players and when the money gets to a certain level, then it's up to the chief executive to decide if it's in the best interests of the club."
Norwich continued their pre-season campaign on Monday night with a comfortable 5-1 win at home to Ligue 1 side Nice.
