Dougie Freedman relishing Ipswich Town test

Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman says that he is looking forward to taking on promotion-chasing Ipswich Town at Portman Road this Saturday.

Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman has admitted that he is looking forward to seeing how his side get on against promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town this weekend.

The Reds will head to Portman Road on Saturday with little left to play for while Ipswich, who are currently sixth in the table, need a win to cement their playoff position.

Freedman insists that Forest will not be heading to Suffolk to make up the numbers.

"I'm really excited to go to a team that's still fighting to get promotion and to see us put ourselves against it," he told Forest's official website.

"There's no way I'll be going down there and taking it easy. For any travelling fans, I'm telling them to expect a tough game, but one which we'll put everything we have into winning.

"There's no need to change too much this week because we've had a nice week at the training ground. It's been good weather and I've enjoyed getting my point across to the players."

Forest drew 3-3 at Blackburn Rovers last time out.
