Gus Poyet in Nottingham Forest frame?

Former Brighton & Hove Albion and Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is reportedly being considered for the manager's job at Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly added Gus Poyet to their shortlist of potential new managers.

The Uruguayan, who has previously coached Brighton & Hove Albion and Sunderland in England, is currently in charge of Greek outfit AEK Athens.

However, Poyet's contract is up in the summer, which has captured the attention of Forest owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi.

The Tricky Trees have been without a permanent boss since the decision was taken to sack Dougie Freedman last month.

Paul Williams is in interim control at the City Ground, but he is expected to step aside at the end of the season.
