Nottingham Forest targeting loan deal for Monaco winger Gil Bastiao Dias?

Nottingham Forest are reportedly closing in on the season-long loan signing of Monaco winger Gil Bastiao Dias.

Nottingham Forest have reportedly moved to the brink of securing a loan deal for Monaco winger Gil Bastiao Dias.

Earlier this month, Forest pulled off two high-profile coups with Joao Carvalho and Diogo Goncalves both arriving at the City Ground from Benfica.

According to BBC Radio Nottingham, Forest are close to bringing in another Portuguese attacker in the form of 21-year-old Dias.

The Under-21 international is contracted to Monaco but the player spent the last campaign at Fiorentina, where he made nine starts and 18 substitute appearances in Serie A.

Dias has previously had a full season in Portugal's top flight, scoring six goals in 34 outings for Rio Ave during 2016-17.
