Oldham Athletic's League One game against Hartlepool United tonight has been abandoned at Boundary Park for falling foul of the weather.
The crucial clash, which could affect both sides' survival hopes in the division, will be re-scheduled due to a frozen pitch.
A statement on Oldham's official website said: "The pitch, frozen following two nights of sub-zero temperatures, failed a 10am pitch inspection by Professional Game Match Official Steve Race.
"The inspection had originally been set for noon, but was brought forward because of concerns about the rock-solid surface."
Doncaster Rovers' match against Carlisle United will face a pitch inspection at midday.
