Takis Lemonis has been appointed as the new head coach of Greek Superleague side Olympiacos.
The 57-year-old begins his fourth spell in charge of the side and replaces Besnik Hasi, who was relieved of his duties following the 3-2 loss to fierce rivals AEK Athens on Sunday.
In a short statement on their website, Olympiacos confirmed: "Olympiakos FC announces the start of its co-operation with the coach Takis Lemonis."
Hasi had been in charge of the side for just three months and delivered a return of eight points from his five league games in charge, leaving them five points behind leaders Athens.
Lemonis's first game back in charge will be a daunting trip to Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
