Parma stay unbeaten at home

Parma are held to a goalless draw by Siena at home and remain unbeaten at the Ennio Tardini since March.

Gianluca Pegolo was the star of the show as the visiting goalkeeper kept out everything that was thrown at home.

The 31-year-old denied Amauri in the early stages and also saved an Aleandro Rosi header from close range.

Jonathan Biabiany tried his luck from distance, but saw his effort fly over the Siena crossbar.

Marco Parolo was gifted a glorious chance to break the deadlock just before the half-time interval in a goalmouth scramble, but could not keep his shot on target.

Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante was called into action after the break when he was forced to keep out Francesco Valiani.

Cristian Zaccardo then came closest for the hosts when he had Pegolo beaten, but saw his shot come off the post.
