Jonathan Biabiany has left Parma by mutual consent after the club agreed to terminate his contract.
The struggling Serie A outfit confirmed that the French midfielder, who had three years left on his contract at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, has left after being disgnosed with a heart problem seven months ago.
A club statement read: "Jonathan Biabiany and Parma have consensually resolved his contract that would have tied him to the club until June 2018."
Biabiany had impressed for the Emilians last season and was set to move to AC Milan last September before an irregular heartbeat was discovered during his medical, prompting Parma to rule the Frenchman out of first-team action indefinitely.
The Crociati also revealed that Biabiany has foregone any wages that were owed to him by the cash-strapped Italian side.
