West Bromwich Albion have reportedly made a bid of £5m for Parma's young French winger Jonathan Biabiany.
According to Tutto Mercato, the Baggies are hoping that their initial offer will be enough to persuade the Serie A side to sell, beating fellow Premier League outfit Southampton to his signature in the process.
The ex-France Under-21 midfielder has featured prominently since joining the club on a permanent basis in 2011.
He scored six goals in 36 appearances for the club, providing seven assists in the process.
Biabiany was part of Rafael Benitez's Inter Milan's side that won the 2010 FIFA World Club Cup, scoring a goal in the final against TP Mazembe.
