Danny Swanson gives Peterborough United a half-time lead against Charlton Athletic at home.

Peterborough United are leading Charlton Athletic 1-0 at home in their Championship clash at half time.

Ricardo Fuller had an early chance for the visitors but saw his right-footed shot from inside the box go wide.

Moments later he made another attempt from close range but once again failed to hit the target, before Danny Haynes forced out a save from Robert Olejnik.

However, it was Peterborough who drew first blood at London Road in the 24th minute when Danny Swanson found the target from the edge of the Charlton penalty area.
