Two goals from Kenny Cooper have helped New York Red Bulls earn a 3-0 win at Philadelphia Union in the MLS Eastern Conference.

The visitors took the lead from the penalty spot in the 13th minute after Carlos Valdes had brought down Tim Cahill in the area. Cooper stepped up to put the ball in the bottom corner for his 17th goal of the season.

Their advantage was doubled 10 minutes before the break as Thierry Henry rounded the defender before calmly prodding the ball home.

The win was sealed midway through the second half thanks to Cooper's second goal of the game.
