Poland goalkeepr Wojciech Szczesny reveals his frustration at being sent off during his side's draw with Greece in Friday's Euro 2012 opener.

Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has revealed his frustration following his sending-off in Friday's Euro 2012 opener against Greece in Warsaw.

With the score tied at 1-1, the Arsenal shotstopper was given a straight red card for bringing down opposition forward Dimitris Salpingidis in the penalty area.

However, substitute Przemyslaw Tyton saved the resulting spot kick to earn a point for the co-hosts.

"I'm frustrated because no-one wants to get sent off in a game like this, one of the biggest of my career so far," Szczesny told reporters. "But I'm relieved Tyton came on and made that save. If he hadn't it would have been game over."

Russia brushed aside the Czech Republic 4-1 in Friday's other Group A match.
