Przemyslaw Tyton: It was like a dream

Poland's hero Przemyslaw Tyton says that the team must now look to their next match against Russia on Tuesday.

Poland goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton said that it felt like a dream to come on during his nation's 1-1 draw with Greece.

The man of the hour was called upon to deny Giorgos Karagounis from the penalty spot after Wojciech Szczesny had brought down Dimitris Salpingidis with the scores level at 1-1.

Diving to his right, the PSV Eindhoven keeper kept the home nation's dreams alive by ensuring that they took a point from their opening fixture.

Tyton, who is now likely to be in goal for the next match against Russia on Tuesday, believes that a draw against the 2004 champions was sufficient.

"I felt like I was in a dream, this was the chance I really wanted to help the team," said the 25-year-old. "I am happy that, thank God, I saved this penalty kick.

"The match finished as a draw which isn't the worst result, but we had more chances during the game and things could have been different. We have another match on the way, on Tuesday [against Russia] and we have to be ready.

"As I said, we're not going to have a long face. We are not going to be sad. It's OK, a draw. We just have to win the next match."

Tyton has six caps for Poland.
