Preston North End have announced that midfielder Alan Browne has signed a new contract with the club.
The Republic of Ireland youth international has put pen to paper on a three-year deal, keeping him at Deepdale until the end of the 2017-18 season.
"This new contract now just gives me the freedom to go and play again and do what I do and it's great to get it done," Browne told the club's website.
"I think we can make a big impact in the Championship and be up there come the end of the season and I can't wait to be a part of it."
Browne has made 41 appearances for Preston since joining the club from Cork City last year.
