David Beckham backs Paris Saint-Germain to win Champions League

Former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder David Beckham backs his old club to claim the Champions League title this season.

David Beckham has suggested that his former club Paris Saint-Germain can go all the way in the Champions League this season.

Former England captain Beckham ended his playing days with the Parisian side and has backed the current Ligue 1 champions to use their experience to go far in Europe's showpiece event.

"They've got players that have been in the Champions League, won the Champions League, players that have played in huge games so they've definitely got the experience," Beckham told BeIN Sports.

"They've got a manager who has been through many big games and has played at many big clubs and won many big competitions so they're very driven and they're very ambitious."

PSG are due to face Chelsea in the last-16 round of the tournament in February.
