Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has admitted that his side have sometimes lacked aggression this season.
The Parisian's tepid league form continued this afternoon as they missed the chance to move top of Ligue 1 following a goalless draw with Montpellier HSC.
"Last year we had the great idea of scoring first. That's what we're missing," said Blanc, according to Goal.com.
"In this game and at the start of the season, there's been a lack of aggression in the middle of midfield. We had so many opportunities, they had almost none. We lacked efficiency up front. We needed to make it happen, and we didn't do it.
"We've wasted some points - I don't think Guingamp and Montpellier were superior. PSG expect more. Now we need to recharge the batteries. The winter break will be good for us, both mentally and physically."
PSG's latest draw now gives league leaders Marseille the chance to establish a three-point lead if they win their game in hand.
