Luuk de Jong hat-trick leads PSV Eindhoven to victory over Cambuur

PSV Eindhoven thrash Cambuur 6-0 in the Eredivisie.

PSV Eindhoven have thrashed Cambuur 6-0, with a Luuk de Jong hat-trick leading the way in the Eredivisie match.

The writing was on the wall for Cambuur after just eight minutes, when Sander van de Streek was sent off for fouling De Jong inside the area.

De Jong stepped up to convert the penalty and open the floodgates.

The 25-year-old added his second four minutes later, and completed his hat-trick before half time.

PSV did not let up in the second half either and Davy Propper extended the lead after 56 minutes.

Jurgen Locadia came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute, and netted PSV's fifth 10 minutes later.

Locadia scored another in stoppage time to complete the scoring.
