Reading come from behind twice to beat QPR 3-2 at Loftus Road and seal their place in round four of the Capital One Cup.

Reading had to come from behind twice to beat Queens Park Rangers 3-2 at Loftus Road and book their place in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.

The hosts made their early pressure count after 15 minutes when Junior Hoilett capped a fine solo run by finding the net.

However, Reading were level just two minutes later as former R's defender Kaspars Gorkss headed in Nicky Shorey's free kick.

QPR had a great chance to go in ahead at the break, but Djibril Cisse's header was pushed away by Alex McCarthy.

Both sides came out with plenty of attacking intent after the break and it was the hosts who capitalised first as Cisse powered in a spectacular drive from 25 yards.

Similar to going behind in the first half, Reading responded almost immediately thanks to Shorey's curled free kick into the top corner.

The turnaround was complete with nine minutes to play as some persistent work from Jay Tabb resulted in Pavel Pogrebnyak deftly flicking the ball past Julio Cesar.

Pogrebnyak had a chance to add a fourth for his side in injury time, but Cesar pushed the spot kick away following a foul on the striker.
