Chris Ramsey has said that he would accept losing his job if it meant keeping Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League.

The Hoops sit in the relegation zone ahead of their match against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this weekend.

Several of the team's injured players are nearing a return, but they will need fitness tests to determine whether or not they can play a role tomorrow.

Good morning! Queens Park Rangers manager Chris Ramsey will be speaking to the media shortly as he prepares his side for the relatively short trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace tomorrow afternoon.

Ramsey's side took part in the only Premier League fixture to be held last weekend, losing 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur, leaving them 18th in the table. The defeat was QPR's third in a row, with each of those defeats coming by a single goal, so it's been a pretty frustrating run for the team.

The good news for Ramsey is that he should have a bigger squad to pick from this week, with several of his injured players returning to training:

QPR face a month that is likely to determine whether they can retain their place in the top flight for next season, as they'll face fellow strugglers Everton, West Brom and Aston Villa in the coming weeks.

While we're waiting to hear from the manager, why not have a read of our preview for this match, and vote in our poll to say who you think will win this match. Palace are just the favourites at this moment, with 47.7%, while QPR are on 43.2%, while 9.1% are predicting a draw.

As with all Premier League matches, we'll have live coverage of this match from an hour before kickoff, as well as team news, half time and full time updates, plus loads of post-match reaction and analysis, so make sure you're with us tomorrow to see if QPR can get out of the bottom three.

Right then, the manager is in his seat ready to go, so let's see what he has to say this week...

Ramsey starts with a squad update, confirming that some of his injured players could be ready to feature, but they'll need a late fitness test: "Taarabt, Furlong and Vargas are back in training. We will make a decision on them tomorrow."

When asked about the relegation battle, the manager tells reporters: "We're only focusing on our points, we need to pick up some points soon. We are focusing on getting three points and dragging teams closer to is. If we can keep as many teams in the dogfight as possible, we can give ourselves a chance."

Richard Dunne is among the players that will be missing this weekend, but Ramsey insists that he could return before the end of the campaign: "The medical staff are working hard with Richard Dunne to get him fit before the end of the season, so we are hoping that we will see him again before the end of the season."

The head coach admits that he was happily lose his job if it meant keeping the team in the league: "You know results keep you in the job. I'd accept now keeping QPR up and not keeping my job though. All the games are must win for us. Everyone is fighting, we know we have to win games soon or we get detached. I think we're playing well enough to get the points we need, we've been in the last two games."

Like Ramsey, Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is still fairly new to his club, and the QPR man says that he's been impressed: "Alan Pardew is a good manager, he's had good jobs and always done a good job. They have flair players with pace and power. Alan will have them organised, he got a quick reaction from the players. I'm not surprised at the job he's done."

Ramsey is asked what would be a good result for the team this weekend, and he replies: "You'd take a point because an away point is always good, but we're going there looking for a win."

That's all from Ramsey this week. QPR fans will definitely be happy to see several of their players nearing a return at such a crucial part of the season. Join us again tomorrow to see if QPR can clinch just their second away win of the season. Until then, thanks for joining me this morning. Goodbye!
