Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes insists that he will stay at Loftus Road, despite suggesting that he would quit if he couldn't "fix" the club.

Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has assured fans that he will not abandon Loftus Road if the club fail to revive their dismal season.

Fernandes suggested that he would leave the club, who are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table with just 15 points, if he was unable to "fix" their problems.

Fernandes has since tweeted: "Fantastic response from QPR fans. Good chat with Harry. I'm a fighter so if fans want me to stay I stay whatever happens. End of subject. Thank you all."

The R's face a tough task against English champions Manchester City on Wednesday.
