Ian Holloway upset with Queens Park Rangers fans' booing

Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway criticises Hoops fans for booing Karl Henry's introduction at Loftus Road on Thursday.

Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway has hit out at fans for booing Karl Henry during the side's 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Loftus Road last night.

The midfielder - a former Wolves player - was on the receiving end of booing from a section supporters when he was brought on by Holloway as a replacement for Sandro on the hour mark.

"I do not want to hear what happened to Karl Henry," Holloway told reporters afterwards. "That upsets me more than anything. Sandro was never going to last. I had to protect him. So I put an experienced one on and he got booed.

"Please do not do that to my players. I do not like that. They might not be your favourite but please do not do that. I have got every right to say that. I do not understand. It might not have been all our lads, it might have been some Wolves fans. But let's have a bit of respect."

The result - the Hoops' second league defeat in a row - left them 15th in the Championship table.
