Rodney Marsh thinks that it is too soon to sack Mark Hughes as QPR manager.

Rodney Marsh has said that Mark Hughes should be given until Christmas to turn QPR's form around.

Marsh, who played over 200 games for the Loftus Road side, thinks that it is too soon to make changes.

He told BBC Radio Five Live: "If you look at any successful team it is always based on continuity and consistency.

"Yes, they have gone 11 games without a win, but I hate it when owners keep on sacking their managers after a run of bad results.

"That can't be good for anybody within the football club. I believe in continuity and consistency."

Hughes believes that he has the backing of the club's owners, despite QPR being without a win this season.
