Queens Park Rangers boss Chris Ramsey: 'My future is not a priority'

Chris Ramsey insists that his future at Queens Park Rangers is not a "priority" right now as the club try to steer away from relegation from the Premier League.

Queens Park Rangers manager Chris Ramsey has insisted that his long-term future at Loftus Road is not a "priority" as he tries to guide the team to Premier League safety.

The 52-year-old was appointed as interim boss in February following the departure of Harry Redknapp.

While it is unclear whether Ramsey will be handed the role on a permanent basis once the season comes to an end, the coach has insisted that he is solely focused on Saturday's home game against West Ham United.

"Everyone is focused on the challenge, my future isn't a priority," Ramsey said in this morning's press conference. "Survival is in the forefront of our thoughts.

"I'm fully expecting a blood and thunder London derby. We will be positive and on the front foot and going for the win."

The West London outfit are two points adrift of safety with five games left to play.
