Harry Redknapp has no plans to leave Queens Park Rangers

Harry Redknapp insists that he will not walk away from his job as Queens Park Rangers manager.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has insisted that he will not walk away from the club, despite speculation surrounding his future.

Club chairman Tony Fernandes has publicly stated that a new contract will be offered to Redknapp, but due to the delay, rumours have emerged suggesting that the club may be considering a change of management.

QPR have won just one game out of seven in the Premier League this season, which has left them at the bottom of the table.

In an interview with The Independent, Redknapp said: "I have no intention of walking away, not a chance. I've not even considered it. I'm confident I can keep the club up, nothing has changed.

"I have not had any discussions about my future with Tony Fernandes, the subject hasn't even come up so I'm in the dark if anything is happening. But what can I do if they decide they want to make a change? Nobody has died, it's football and life goes on."

Redknapp guided QPR back to the top flight via the Championship playoffs last season.
