Joey Barton has praised the unity at Queens Park Rangers for their dramatic victory over Stoke City yesterday.
The West London side lifted hopes of surviving the drop into the Championship by scoring a last-minute goal courtesy of Djibril Cisse against the Potters at Loftus Road.
"A lot of people wrote us off 10 games ago and said our run-in was too difficult," said Barton. "But we stayed compact, kept together as a dressing room, kept chipping away and now we are masters of our destiny."
QPR, who are now two points clear of relegation, come up against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium for the final day of the Premier League next week.
