Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes eyes "four or five" signings

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes reveals that the club is looking to sign "four or five" new players before the start of next season.

Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has revealed that the club is looking to sign "four or five" new players this summer.

The R's secured their return to the Premier League last Saturday with a dramatic 1-0 win over Derby County in the Championship playoff final at Wembley Stadium.

When asked how many extra players the club would need to compete in the top flight next season, Fernandes told Sky Sports News: "Maybe four or five. We'll have to wait and see."

Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott is among a handful of names who have been linked with QPR in the past week.
