Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has reportedly launched a £6.5m bid for Rennes midfielder Yaan M'Vila during a scouting trip to France.
Redknapp was spotted watching Marseille striker Loic Remy in their Coupe de France tie against Giungamp on Sunday, with the aim of persuading the forward to join the fight for survival at Loftus Road.
French international midfielder M'Vila has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs in the last 12 months, including London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Redknapp wants M'Vila to toughen up the Hoops midfield and has made a formal offer to Rennes to secure the 22-year-old's services, according to The Mirror.
Rennes owner Federic Antonetti has admitted that M'Vila will leave the club if they receive a "suitable offer" and are able to find a replacement.
