Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp is reportedly considering a late bid for Croatian midfielder Nico Kranjcar, a player he has signed twice before.
Kranjcar played under Redknapp at Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur and is thought to be keen on a Premier League return despite playing a prominent role for current club Dynamo Kiev.
Redknapp admitted last night that he is "desperately short" of players to fight relegation and will launch a move to sign Kranjcar before Thursday's transfer deadline, according to The Metro.
The 28-year-old joined Kiev from Spurs last summer for £5.5m and the Ukrainian giants are thought to be unwilling to accept anything less than that fee to part with the playmaker.
