Real Madrid's Gareth Bale "stepping up the recovery"

Real Madrid's Gareth Bale posts a video of himself running as he steps up his recovery from a calf injury.

Gareth Bale has taken to Twitter this afternoon to provide an update on his fitness.

The Real Madrid and Wales winger picked up a calf complaint during the 4-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League earlier this month.

Head coach Rafael Benitez recently claimed that the 26-year-old could be out for up to three weeks, but Bale's video post has suggested that he could return to action sooner than that.

Bale has scored two goals from his four outings in all competitions this season.ID:248934: cacheID:248934:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1727:
