Carlo Ancelotti: "Our players did so well"

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti believes that his players "did so well" to thrash Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-finals.

Carlo Ancelotti has said that his Real Madrid side did "so well" to seal a place in the final of the Champions League.

The Spanish side beat defending champions Bayern Munich 4-0 at the Allianz Arena this evening, securing a 5-0 semi-final victory on aggregate.

The manager told reporters: "I offer huge congratulations to everyone, our players did so well. When everyone works together you can then add the quality and things can work out perfectly. After 12 years, Madrid are going back to contest a final."

Real will face Ancelotti's former club Chelsea or local rivals Atletico Madrid in next month's final.
