Carlo Ancelotti reveals Italy goal

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti reveals that he wants to manage Italy before he retires.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he wants to manage Italy before he retires.

However, the experienced manager has insisted that a possible role with his national team is a future goal, as he expects to be with Madrid "for a long time".

"Right now I'm happy doing day-to-day work," AS quotes Ancelotti as saying.

"I want to carry on at a club side. I am fine at Real Madrid. I like Madrid, and I'd like to be here for a long time. As an Italian, that's an aspiration though."

Italy have been managed by Cesare Prandelli since 2010.
