Roberto Carlos: 'Pressure on Barcelona'

Former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos claims that Barcelona are under more pressure to win La Liga this season than Los Blancos.

Former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos believes that Barcelona are under more pressure to win the La Liga title this season.

The Catalan outfit still have a two-point lead at the top of the table, but a 2-2 draw at Sevilla on Saturday allowed Real Madrid to cut the gap from four.

"Last week everyone thought the league was over but with Madrid's victory and Barca's draw, it's opened again," AS quotes Carlos as saying. "We'll be waiting to see who is the champion until the end of the season.

"I think Barca have more pressure on them. Madrid won the Champions League. And after what happened in Seville, there are some doubts around Barca."

Carlos represented Real Madrid between 1996 and 2007, winning four league titles and three Champions Leagues with the capital outfit.
