Spain boss Vicente del Bosque believes that Carlo Ancelotti is "doing something extraordinary" at Real Madrid.
Los Blancos lost two of their first three league games this season, but have since won their last 13 matches in all competitions.
Del Bosque also praised the contribution of former Spain international Fernando Hierro, who is assisting Ancelotti this season.
"Carlo is a gentleman, a sportsman, and everyone likes him. He is doing something extraordinary at Madrid and Hierro's contribution is also great," Ancelotti told Radio Marca.
"His work also needs people around him who can help out and he has a great team. They must surely be one of the best Madrid teams of all time."
Del Bosque won five league titles with Real Madrid as a player, in addition to two championships as manager.
