Manuel Pellegrini believes that events at Real Madrid this summer could have effects on other clubs in Spain.

Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini has said that the whole of Spain could be affected by events at the club this summer.

Coach Jose Mourinho will reportedly leave the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season, while the future of forward Cristiano Ronaldo is still wrapped up in uncertainty.

"I cannot analyse things from his point of view," ESPN quotes Pellegrini as saying. "When I was there, I said it was a very difficult job.

"[Real Madrid] is an institution which shakes the whole country, with a great social, political and environmental pressure. It is a difficult position and each person must deal with it the way they can."

Pellegrini was the Madrid coach for the 2009-10 season.
