Raphael Varane out for Real Madrid

Real Madrid will be without Raphael Varane for tonight's La Liga clash with Real Valladolid after the centre-back picked up a knee injury in training.

Real Madrid will be without the services of centre-back Raphael Varane for tonight's La Liga clash with Real Valladolid.

The Frenchman had been in line for a start this evening but pulled up with a knee injury in training on Tuesday and has therefore not made the trip with his teammates.

As a result, Castilla left-back Diego Llorente has been called into the first-team squad.

Victory for Los Blancos would see them move two points behind league leaders Atletico Madrid with just two games of the season remaining.

However, Valladolid would move out of the drop zone with all three points.
