Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Villarreal.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti will again shuffle his pack for Sunday's La Liga game at Villarreal.

Ancelotti has been rotating his squad since the league title was secured at the start of the month, with the Italian bidding to ensure that his players are in prime condition for the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on June 1.

A strong team put five past Alaves last time out, but there will be wholesale changes here, with Lucas Vazquez, Fran Garcia, Dani Ceballos, Luka Modric, Arda Guler, Brahim Diaz and Joselu all set to come back in.

Ancelotti is likely to name close to his strongest XI against Real Betis on the final matchday of the La Liga season, with the team then having a week to prepare for the clash with Dortmund.

Andriy Lunin could come back in between the sticks this weekend, but number one Thibaut Courtois is being tipped to feature against Real Betis and then be given the nod for the Champions League final.

Ancelotti is also sweating over the fitness of Aurelien Tchouameni for the clash with Dortmund, as the midfielder is nursing a foot problem which he suffered against Bayern Munich.

David Alaba, meanwhile, remains a long-term absentee due to a knee injury, and he is believed to have undergone another operation earlier this week.

Guler has scored in his last two appearances against Granada and Alaves, and the highly-rated 19-year-old will again be bidding to make an impression this weekend.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Lunin; Vazquez, Rudiger, Nacho, F Garcia; Ceballos, Camavinga, Modric; Guler; Brahim, Joselu
