Team News: Sami Khedira, Diego Costa to take part in Champions League final

Sami Khedira and Diego Costa start for Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid respectively in the Champions League final tonight after recovering from injuries.

Real Madrid have made three changes from their last league game for today's clash against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final.

Sami Khedira, back to fitness after being out since November with damaged knee ligaments, is handed a surprise start at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 37 goals in his last 29 Champions League games, is also in the starting XI for tonight's game, alongside Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.

Meanwhile, Diego Costa is fit to start for city-rivals Atletico despite previously being a doubt for the European football showpiece, but Arda Turan misses out.

David Villa is the only man in this side to win the Champions League previously, having lifted the trophy with Barcelona.
