Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi has admitted that he wants to stay at the club next season.
The Spaniard has struggled for game time this season, and has been heavily linked with a summer move to Liverpool.
However, he told reporters: "I have a contract for a few more years and I hope to stay because I really like it here.
"The truth is that I haven't played much. Everyone likes to play more, but obviously in Madrid it's very difficult to play and get continuity."
Illarramendi joined the La Liga runner-ups in 2013.
