Real Madrid playmaker Kaka has admitted that he wanted to leave the club over the summer but did not receive a suitable offer.
Kaka was linked with a return to AC Milan and clubs in his native Brazil, but remains a Madrid player until at least January after failing to secure a move.
He told Globoesporte: "I do not want to a burden to the club and if I am not gone it is because I did not have any good offers.
"I will not be a starter, but I will be back on the squad list.
"I am 30 years old and I have done a lot. Sometimes I wonder 'is it better to go somewhere else and play more?' The answer is yes and I am willing to."
Kaka slid further down the pecking order at Madrid as Jose Mourinho signed Luka Modric and Michael Essien to bolster his options in midfield.
