Real Madrid are reportedly convinced that they will win the race for the signature of Kylian Mbappe in 2022.
The Paris Saint-Germain attacker is due to become a free agent at the end of the current campaign, with talks over an extension with Les Parisiens failing to bear fruit.
Real Madrid saw a nine-figure sum rebuffed by PSG during the last knockings of the summer window, and they are being tipped to land Mbappe on a free transfer in 2022.
According to AS, Real Madrid are 'certain' that Mbappe will don the white jersey from the 2022-23 season onwards, with the World Cup winner having no intention of renewing his PSG deal.
The report adds that Mbappe feels like a "support act" at PSG alongside Neymar and Lionel Messi, and he is excited to lead the Blancos charge as the 'cornerstone' of Carlo Ancelotti's side.
Mbappe has scored nine goals and assisted 12 more in 20 games across all competitions this season, including 14 contributions from 15 Ligue 1 outings.
