Real Madrid 'looking to cut €75m from wage bill'
Real Madrid are allegedly keen to cut €75m (£66.05m) from their wage bill during the next transfer window.

Real Madrid are allegedly determined to make a significant cut to their wage bill during the next transfer window.

While Real continue to be linked with a wide range of high-profile players, it has been well documented that they must first raise funds through player sales.

According to AS, club officials want to ensure that they reduce their outgoings by €75m (£66.05m) as soon as possible.

The report claims that this will result in Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Alvaro Odriozola, Mariano Diaz, Dani Ceballos and Jesus Vallejo all being made available for transfer.

In theory, being able to part ways with each of the six players appears unlikely, but the focus will be on trying to find a buyer for the likes of Bale and Rodriguez.

Los Blancos may also be prepared to settle for cut-price fees in order to get players off their books.
