Real Betis and Real Madrid are both reportedly interested in signing Porto midfielder Hector Herrera this summer.
Herrera, who is currently representing Mexico at the 2018 World Cup, only has one year left to run on his current contract.
According to Sevilla Info, Betis are keen on bringing the 28-year-old to Seville this summer, but they will face competition from Madrid, who will be looking to replace Mateo Kovacic ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
Herrera joined Porto from Pachuca in 2013, and has made 192 appearances for the Portuguese club in all competitions.
The midfielder scored five times and contributed seven assists in 42 appearances last season.
