A report claims that Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale is not looking to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season.

Gareth Bale is reportedly determined to fight for his place at Real Madrid after falling out of favour under Zinedine Zidane.

The Wales international has struggled to hold down a starting spot since the collapse of a big-money switch to Jiangsu Suning last summer.

Zidane remains keen to offload Bale, with Everton the latest club to be linked, but The Mirror claims that the 30-year-old has no intention of departing.

Bale will instead attempt to force his way back into Madrid's first-team plans once football resumes, it is suggested, in the hope of prolonging his stay at the Bernabeu.

Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Bale has started just 13 games this term and is under contract until June 2022.
